Nia

Day 5 - Dec 30th

Principle: Nia - Purpose

Symbol: Heiroglyph Nefer  (Egyptian symbol of beauty and good)

Candle: Green

Our historical and cultural identity is defined through the principle of Nia. Who we are and who was before us gives us a cultural purpose and suggests direction and alignment with the source. We (Africans) are the 1st humans. Life came from us and yet life has also been taken from us.

Our land and culture is full of abundance and "each generation must discover its mission and then fulfill it or betray it" (Frantz Fanon)

As a people our purpose is not to just get rich and make money. Wealth is not defined by the dollar. Give a man a fish and he'll have a meal, teach a man to fish and he'll feed his community. We must be committed to the development of able men and women. Men and women capable of contributing to society and creating meaningful exchange, moving with high frequency consciousness, manifesting visions laced with values, morals, principles and practices that contribute to and build on human rights, freedoms and development.

We have inherited a divine legacy. We are the guardians and custodians of BLACK EXCELLENCE.

We have a responsibility to save, build on and grow this legacy now and for future generations.

Imagine on January 1, 2023 you are given land and a house, a vehicle, a lump sum annual salary and food for a year ... WHAAT?! WHY?!

What would you do? How would you govern your assets? How would you show your gratitude and appreciation for those blessings? Is it all

yours? Is it for your immediate family? What about your community? HOW WOULD YOU USE THIS MULTITUDE OF BLESSINGS TO SERVE?
